Team

The people who keep your capital architecture intact

A small, senior team — no juniors handling client files, no delegation of decisions to algorithm-driven platforms.

Built for depth, not scale

Heritage Bureau deliberately limits the number of active client engagements. In 2024, our team of five advisers and analysts carried a combined active book of forty-three clients — a ratio that would strike most wealth management firms as commercially unambitious. We consider it a structural requirement for the quality of work we promise. Each client has a named lead adviser who attends every review, writes every recommendation, and is reachable directly. There are no account managers standing between you and the person who understands your situation. Backgrounds on the team span risk analysis at EU-regulated institutions, actuarial modelling for Slovak and Austrian insurance carriers, and structured finance at a Vienna-based private bank. Collectively the team has overseen the construction and review of more than 200 individual capital protection structures since the bureau was established in 2011.

Areas of deep technical expertise

Each team member brings a primary specialism; every client brief draws on the full mix.

Quantitative Risk Analysis

Two of our analysts trained in actuarial methods and apply statistical modelling to client portfolios — producing scenario outputs that are grounded in historical data rather than optimistic assumptions. They also run the annual stress-test cycles and maintain the firm's proprietary risk-threshold database.

Insurance & Wrapper Structuring

One senior adviser has fourteen years of experience placing and managing insurance-based investment vehicles across Slovak, Austrian, and Luxembourg jurisdictions. She leads all wrapper selection processes and maintains relationships with carriers across the EU.

Legal Structure Design

Our structures specialist has a background in Slovak commercial law and spent six years advising family offices in Bratislava on holding company and succession arrangements. He designs the legal framework for each client's capital architecture, coordinating with external counsel where formal opinions are required.

Ongoing Monitoring & Reporting

A dedicated analyst manages the quarterly review cycle — tracking instrument performance, updating Risk Registers, and drafting the written notes each client receives. Nothing falls through the cracks between annual check-ins because the monitoring cadence is built into the retainer from day one.

I have worked with advisers at three different institutions over the past decade. What sets Heritage Bureau apart is that the same person who designed my structure is the one on the phone when I have a question. There is no re-explaining my situation every time.
